I wasn't following MMA when this fight happened, and have no idea what went on afterwards. But it seems Grasso didn't fight anyone other than Valentina for these last 2 years. A lot of people tried discrediting her victory and say it was a "mistake" on the part of Valentina. But if we're being honest, the whole point of MMA is to study your opponent and come with a prepared gameplan on the day of the fight. She did her homework. I wonder if taht's the reason she rematched Valentina almost immediately, to shut the naysayers. Or to prove to herself she could do it again.
