Ilia smokes Charles and Islam folds JDM? How are yall so sure

Not trying to argue, just kinda lost. I’m more into wrestling and sub grappling than full on MMA, so maybe I see stuff different, but some of these matchup takes on here are wild. Like:“Ilia murders Oliveira no problem”, “Islam just walks through JDM”, “Charles had nothing for Islam anyway” Where’s that confidence even coming from? That Charles vs Arman fight? Crazy close. If that guillotine hits in R1, this whole sub is probably calling Arman overrated and not ready. Instead he survives, and now he’s the future. That’s it. That one moment flipped the script. Same deal with Askren vs Maia (old ref I know lol) Askren was winning until he got caught. That’s the fight game. But it’s like, we pick one outcome and suddenly act like it’s the truth forever. Yeah ok, some fights are one-sided (Islam vs Moicano, sure). But most of these top matchups? Super close. One mistake, one scramble, one late reaction, and boom fight’s over. Doesn’t mean the loser sucks, just means it broke a certain way. I’m not tryna act like I know more than anyone, I just don’t get how people talk like they’ve got spoilers for fights that haven’t even happened. You blink and the whole outcome changes.
