Their latest move came on Sunday when the team announced the signing of forward Jack Finley to a three-year contract with an AAV of $775,000.
The 22-year-old will be on a two-way contract for the 2025-26 season before the deal converts to a one-way for the remaining two years.
Finley spent last season with the AHL’s Syracuse Crunch, scoring a career-high 14 goals through 40 appearances. His 28 total points were sixth on the team, while he set career highs in plus-minus (plus-11) and game-winning goals (two) as well.
Through 161 career games in the AHL, all with the Crunch, Finley has logged 81 points (39 goals, 42 assists).
The former 57th overall pick by Tampa Bay in 2020 made his NHL debut with the Lightning earlier this year. He finished a plus-1 in 8:25 of ice time in a loss to the Boston Bruins on Jan. 14, 2025.
