MacKinnon, Hagel, Draisaitl named NHL’s three stars for February
Nathan MacKinnon of the Colorado Avalanche, Brandon Hagel of the Tampa Bay Lightning and Leon Draisaitl of the Edmonton Oilers were named the three stars for the month of February.

MacKinnon had 12 points (four goals and eight assists) in eight games with the Avalanche. He also earned tournament MVP honours during the 4 Nations Face-Off, leading all players with four goals in as many games to help Canada capture gold.
The reigning Hart Trophy winner, who was also the top star for December, leads the league in scoring this season with 91 points.
Hagel recorded 13 points (seven goals and six assists) in eight games with the Lightning. He also played in all four games for Canada during the 4 Nations Face-Off and notched one assist.
Draisaitl topped the league with eight goals during the month to increase his lead in the race for the Rocket Richard Trophy. The 29-year-old has 44 goals — 10 more than second-place William Nylander of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
