NHL announces 2025 Stanley Cup Final schedule

The 2025 Stanley Cup Final matchup is officially set.

It’ll be a rematch of last year’s Cup deciding series with the defending champion Florida Panthers taking on the Edmonton Oilers.

The Panthers took down the Carolina Hurricanes in five games on Wednesday to retain their Eastern Conference crown, while the Oilers also took care of business in five games out West — eliminating the Dallas Stars for a second consecutive season.

The rematch between the cross-conference rivals gets underway on Wednesday, June 4, in Edmonton.
