Not only is the Boston University star playing in the Frozen Four championship game, but Hutson is also expected to sign a two-year, entry-level contract with the Edmonton Oilers after the game is finished, Sportsnet can confirm.
Cam Robinson of Elite Prospects was the first to report the deal.
Robinson reports that Hutson will report directly to Edmonton, which will burn one year of the deal and make him a restricted free agent after the 2025-26 season.
Quinn is the older brother of Montreal Canadiens star rookie defenceman Lane Hutson.
A 23-year-old forward, Quinn had 23 goals and 27 assists in 37 games with Boston University this year.
