Report: Suns’ Kevin Durant exploring trade options

One of the best players in the NBA is mulling over his next chapter.

Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant is exploring trade scenarios alongside business partner Rich Kleiman, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported on Wednesday.

Teams that have expressed interest in Durant include the Houston Rockets, San Antonio Spurs, Miami Heat, Minnesota Timberwolves and New York Knicks, Charania added.

Durant and the Suns are expected to work together on a potential deal.

Other teams have also made inquiries on the 15-time all-star, who was in trade discussions around February’s deadline when he reportedly rejected a move back to the Golden State Warriors.

Trade talks now are expected to escalate in advance of the June 25 NBA Draft.

Durant, 37, averaged 26.6 points, six rebounds and 4.2 assists in 62 games last season, but the Suns finished 36-46 and missed the post-season.

Phoenix recently hired former Cleveland Cavaliers assistant Jordan Ott as head coach.
