The Lightweight Dilemma

I've seen a lot of opinions on why Illia doesn't deserve the fight and how he's just a Featherweight, but not seeing anyone actually give any alternatives for who Islam should fight. He wants to fight this June, and seems like the everyone in the division feels entitled to a title shot. Charles feels entitled to the title shot, after only beating Micheal Chandler, the same Chandler that sat out for two years frothing at the mouth to fight a Post leg break Connor McGregor, nearly gets finished in the end and that's his claim to the title? Gatheje is even worse, he gets a short notice Fiziev who's known for having bad cardio, also coming off a two year lay off, has a three rounds fight in which he barely wins and nearly gets his arm snapped in the beginning of the fight. Yet he also feels entitled to a title shot, and calls his Max loss an "exhibition" makes no sense, yes he didn't have to take the fight, but he still did and lost, to a "Featherweight" at that and for some reason is still ranked above Max. If anyone deserves the shot it's Arman, but of course since he pulled out, the UFC wants to punish him. But why not book Arman vs Charles II and make it a 5 rounder? Charles says he's not interested in that fight. It's ridiculous we are seriously choosing between an undefeated fighter who's knocked out Volk & Max (The equivalent of knocking out Jon Jones & DC in the same year), a rightful LW contender who beat Charles.
