Blachowicz was supposed to be nothing more than cannon fodder in this division. The development that Jan has shown throughout his career is so shocking that even Joe Rogan tried to infantilise and downplay it. Jan fought Poatan to a (arguable) decision, he defeated Izzy in the time that Izzy was untouchable. He fought Ank and absolutely massacred his shin in the first round and then casually decided to not pursue further action on that. I got so incredibly frustrated then because Ank then just pushed Jan against the netting for the remainder of time and this resulted in a (widely criticised) tie. I hope Jan makes an absolute blast of his return. Then fight Jiri to the death. The winner fights Ank, and hopefully knocks him out. Jah bless!
