LONDON, Ont. — The trial for five former NHLers facing sexual assault charges did not sit on Thursday because of the illness of a member of the jury.

The trial is expected to continue Friday, pending the juror’s return to health.

NHLer Taylor Raddysh was scheduled to finish his testimony on Thursday. Raddysh, 27, said on Wednesday he had little recollection of what happened in the Delta Armouries hotel the night of the alleged incident. Raddysh had testified via video conferencing from the Washington Capitals team facility in Arlington, Va.

Michael McLeod, 27, has been charged with two counts of sexual assault, including one relating to aiding in the offence. Dillon Dube, 26, Cal Foote, 26, Alex Formenton, 25, and Carter Hart, 26, have each been charged with one count of sexual assault. All have pleaded not guilty to their charges.
